About

Our Story

We are a second generation family farm located in Wattleup, Western Australia, owned and operated by myself Paul Glavocich, my wife Crystal, and my two parents.

We started back in 1986 when my Dad (also named Paul) bought a small farming property. Back then, all that existed was bare land. My dad worked really hard over the next few years to turn this farming property into a Market Garden, preparing the ground and soil, and setting up all the infrastructure and sprinklers on his own.

Our Passion

We wanted to share the food that we grow and eat ourselves directly with our community, so we created our Farmer’s Choice Produce Boxes as a way to do this. We believe that healthy foods makes healthy people. Having local produce that was grown down the road by us and other local farms in the area is a fresher and more sustainable way to do your weekly veggie shopping.

Paul Glavocich

Owner & Operator
Fun fact:
Paul has a big sweet tooth and when he isn’t eating veggies or growing them he is eating a tiramisu, ice cream or a cream and jam donut.

Favourite Produce:
Following on with the sweet tooth Paul loves most fruits but especially blueberries, oranges and mangoes. When it comes to veggies- Paul loves a Summer Garden Salad.
Crystal Glavocich

General Manager
Fun fact:
When Crystal is not at the farm, she is out working at her other job as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She enjoys working out and working up a sweat at the gym.
Favourite produce:
When it comes to fruit and veg, Crystal prefers her Veggies and loves a good potato bake topped with cheese. Her favourite fruit would be bananas, apples, and strawberries.
Katy Glavocich (Also known as Katica)

Supervisor & Heart of the Business
Fun fact:
Was born and raised in Blato on the island of Korcula. She migrated to Australia at the young age of 15 when she fell in love with Paul Glavocich Senior.

Favourite produce:
Zeje (or Zelje), a traditional dish from the Dalmatian region of Croatia that combines green vegetables and potatoes with olive oil and salt.

Amanda Andrews (Mandy)

Processing & Delivery
Fun Fact: Mandy loves to have a chat and hearing about everyone's life experiences. She's also an IVF success story to one very beautiful little boy.
Favourite Produce:
Mandy cooks an amazingly delicious special fried rice packed full of Veggies. She loves to eat as much fresh produce as possible to set a great example to her little man. But there is no denying she is also a lover of cookies and cream Connoisseur ice cream.
Gemma Lantzke

Processing & Delivery
Fun Fact:
Gemma really loves to cook in the kitchen at home for her family with lots of fresh Veggies. She also brings yummy treats to the farm that she’s baked at home. A big tick from Mr Paul Glavocich.
Favourite produce:
Favourite vegetables are spinach and sweet potatoes. She also loves strawberries and all the summer fruits.
Sibusisiwe Mthombeni (Busie)

Fun Fact Busie came over to Australia from Zimbabwe on a working visa at the end of 2024. She is also a mother to a beautiful boy back in her home town. Busie is here so she can give herself and her son a better life and has high hopes for him to be able to join her over here very soon.
Fresh Produce Busie's favourite vegetable is Chomolia- widely farmed in Zimbabwe and is similar to kale. It makes excellent ingredient in releases, sauces, stews and stirfry.
